Adler in Heidelberg

My Place of choice in Heidelberg. Nice imported German Beers, Excellent menu selection and fair pricing. I Will give you 5stars for weekends and 2stars for weekdays. Definitely a different place over weekends than during the week.

Nice idea. A lot of seating available inside the venue, outside under the trees and in the old trains. Very nice an cozy. The restaurant has a very nice selection of local brewed beers. The porions are big and the prices are not to bad. This is a very nice family restaurant where you and your family can spend time with each other and have a nice meal. Unfortunately I ordered a feta and avo burger got a raw patty with 3 small bloks of feta and a tablespoon of avo, wich is strange because that's the two main ingredients. But I still had a nice experience at the restaurant.

The restaurant is under new ownership, the new place, Adler's, is focused on German dishes. Pasta is a thing that has fallen away. The chocolate cake was a little wild with the lemon juice. Food still takes a very long time, this time I just do not know if it is worth it.

wonderful experience! Had a delicious breakfast in the old train. Lots to see and do at the Heritage museum!

The "Goulash" Soup was a Bolognese sauce with a Bay Leaf and got nothing to do with the original meal. Chicken Schnitzel was quite well. Waiter didn't make a good job.- Forgot our order and drinks, forgot a spoon for the soup and the cutlery for the main dish. The place was okay but for me it was nicer to sit infront of the train wagon next to the fountain. For festivals and events i can imagine that it is better in the backyard. We will try it again soon.

Well organized, friendly environment for adults and children.. EXCELLENT food, a true family experience.
